I haven't heard this CD yet but I'm assuming it's the same loop found in the Generations version. You can unlock the Japanese version of Palmtree Panic in Generations, and it does loop. I'm guessing this CD was being worked on at the same time as Sonic Generations (the game). Either that or this CD was finalized before Taxman did his looping for the upcoming game release, which seems more likely. Your point of Sega of Japan not communicating with Sega of America is probably spot on then. These excuses would be fine if Christian Whitehead, the lead designer who's porting Sonic CD to all the downloadable markets this December, hadn't already confirmed that he's made seamless looping music for his version of the game.Īh yes, forgot about his post over at Retro. Surely these tracks would have made more sense, contextually, as they're born from the same composers and based on the same soundtrack featured on the disc? I have already mentioned two bonus tracks that would have been far more fitting, and they've been commercially unavailable for nearly 20 years. The fact they're here is honestly a really strange decision. I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of Crush 40 (or Cash Cash), but here's an objective point: Why should these bonus tracks be on the Japanese soundtrack of Sonic CD? Surely they'd fit better as bonus material on the upcoming Best Of compilation or on the Sonic Generations Original Soundtrack. Personally I love Crush 40, excellent music for driving, playing air guitar, and singing along to.

Jun is a master on guitar and Johnny has a perfect voice for rock music, he even worked with Journey guitarist Neal Schon in the band Hardline. Crush 40 has thousands upon thousands of fans worldwide who love their music, myself included. You should be more careful when you throw around the word 'nobody' when referring to your own opinion.
